Born in the frozen tundra of the Midwest in November of 1968, Dan Marshall’s relationship with photography started with sub-zero temperatures, the metal housing of a Pentax K1000 camera, and a wet tongue. His well-being has been closely linked to photography ever since.
He honed his photographic skills through years of apprenticeship and professional positions in the worlds of photojournalism and commercial photography.
He currently shoots for a variety of editorial, corporate, design, and advertising clients as well as his own personal projects. Commissioned or personal, the work he produces is crafted with a critical eye and empathetic heart.
His personal work covers a wide range of subject matter, but is frequently shaped by a distillation or reductive process. His pieces are held in individual and corporate collections.
Dan Marshall does not currently take online orders. Email or call for purchase information.
